eDocAmerica supports our initiatives and operates with the mission to improve health by providing direct, online access to medical services, making it much more convenient for members to get the information they need to take better care of themselves. eDocAmerica’s purpose is to enable the member to provide better self-care, to lead a healthier life, and to visit their physician only when necessary.

ODS offers eDocAmerica to our fully-insured groups. ODS will also be offering this valuable service to our self-insured accounts on a per employee, per month (PEPM) fee basis.

eDocAmerica is committed to using only highly experienced physicians who have a broad-based approach (mostly family medicine) and who are oriented toward prevention and patient empowerment. Most of eDocAmerica’s physicians are involved both in practice and teaching positions in certified medical schools in the U.S. and all are licensed to practice medicine in one of the 50 states of the U.S. and are certified by one or more medical boards that are a member of the American Board of Medical Specialties. Responses are authoritative, and are made within 24 hours from the time of request.
